We all know that emotions are powerful. They can make us feel happy, sad, angry, and everything in between. Emotions are also powerful enough that they can actually change your body chemistry. This means that if you’re feeling emotion, then your body is going through changes on a chemical level.

While it’s normal to experience negative emotions like sadness or anger at times, it’s important to remember that negative emotions can also cause stress to build up inside of you. This stress can have an impact on your health in many ways including weakening your body's immune system, perception, attention, learning, memory, reasoning, and problem-solving.

It's Time To Heal Yourself By Barbara Bouvier

I want to share some of my favorite tips to unleash that inner happiness that each of us has just waiting to get out. I want you to put this into practice, and your stress level goes down. Focus on the activities and remember the joy they brought to your life.

1. Laughter: Laugh often and laugh out loud.

Make it a habit to spend time with friends who make you laugh. And then return the favor by sharing funny stories or jokes with those around you.

2. Adventure: Do more adventurous things.

Get that Adrenaline rush and feel the excitement. The more you do this, the more you want. Then you will see, feel and connect with life. Go Sky Diving!

3. Connect with nature: Listen to the birds!
Go out and take a walk, go jogging, ride a bike, sit in your backyard, or somewhere surrounded by nature.

4. Meet new people: Join a group

and surround yourself with people who have the same interest as you do. You can enjoy common things and others who can relate.

It's time to heal yourself
audiobook download

Listening to the steps to help HEAL YOUR SOUL rather than watching, can spark a more emotional response. Studies have shown, that people have a more emotional reaction when listening to an audiobook than they do when watching an adaptation. When we listen to an audiobook, our brain has to create more content, such as imagery, to supplant the words. This helps create a “greater emotional and physiological engagement than watching the scene on a screen, as measured by both heart rate and electro-dermal activity,” according to conclusions drawn by Dr. Joseph Levin. The science makes intuitive sense ‒ hearing a story read aloud emulates social tendencies and humans are conditioned to communicate with each other auditorily. Listening to the steps will help you to feel, envision, heal, and move forward with the great happiness that you deserve.

You've probably heard it said that your relationships with others are a reflection of how you feel about yourself. The same is true for emotional healing: the people in your life are a reflection of who you are. If you're spending more time complaining and being unhappy about who you are with, now is the time to take action to be with someone else—even if your only choice is to just be with yourself.

What's more, your relationship with yourself can have a powerful impact on the way that others perceive you. If you're unhappy, others will respond in kind; if you're happy, they'll respond positively as well—and because our minds are so interconnected, their responses will affect how we feel about ourselves even more than if we were surrounded by only positive people!  In other words: when we surround ourselves with people who make us feel good about ourselves, we end up making those people feel good about themselves too! This can create a powerful cycle of positivity and happiness within our communities at large.

So what does this mean for your next step? How do we actually get from where we are now to where we want to be? Order your copy today and start on your journey to healing.
