It's time to take action. If you want to be successful, you have to work hard and make your dreams happen. You can't just sit around and expect things to fall into place. It takes effort—but it's worth it.

That's why we've created this workbook for you: to give you a place where you can keep track of your progress, set goals, and start working towards making those dreams come true.

Take two hours a day, every day, and use that time to work on your goals. Don't waste it on social media or Netflix (or even reading our blog!)—use it for something that will help you grow as a person. And then check back in with our workbook at the end of each week so we can cheer you on along the way!

And this is where most people fall short because they are afraid of what might happen if they try something new. They don't want to fail, so they don't even try. And most of all, they don't want anyone else thinking badly of them, so they hold back—and that keeps them from growing into their full potential as human beings and professionals.

Listening to the steps to help shift your mindset workbook rather than watching one can spark a more emotional response. Studies have shown, that people have a more emotional reaction when listening to an audiobook than they do when watching an adaptation. When we listen to an audiobook, our brain has to create more content, such as imagery, to supplant the words. This helps create a “greater emotional and physiological engagement than watching the scene on a screen, as measured by both heart rate and electro-dermal activity,” according to conclusions drawn by Dr. Joseph Levin. The science makes intuitive sense ‒ hearing a story read aloud emulates social tendencies, and humans are conditioned to communicate with each other auditorily. Let's Get Focused!!

We will be looking at ways to stay focused on your goals and not be distracted by other things.

To start, let's look at why staying focused matters. If you are not staying focused on where you want to go, then it is very likely that you will not get there. You may have a great idea for a business, but if you cannot stay focused on building it, then it will never come to fruition.

You need to be able to stay focused not only on the task at hand but also on the bigger picture of what your goals are and how they play into each other. That way, if something comes up that seems like it might interfere with your goals or distract you from them (even though it might seem like fun), then you can decide whether or not it is worth letting that thing take up space in your mind instead of focusing on what really matters: making sure that nothing interferes with making progress toward achieving the goal.

For example, if someone asks you out on a date and they happen to live close by and would be willing to pick up dinner and bring it over so that both of you could eat together at home instead of going out somewhere expensive or having dinner delivered... You get just. Are you going to stop what you are doing or focus and complete the task? This book is designed to keep you on track and reach your goal.
